Ministry Contribution Refund Policy

CBN Malaysia, operated under the legal entity Shift Studios PLT, gratefully receives voluntary ministry contributions to support its ministry and outreach activities. We are thankful for every donor who gives toward this work.

Refunds and cancellations

As contributions are given voluntarily, all contributions made to CBN Malaysia are generally non-refundable. However, refund or cancellation requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be considered in limited circumstances.

Refund or cancellation requests may be considered where there is a duplicate transaction, payment error, accidental wrong amount, reasonably verified unauthorised transaction, or any other situation that CBN Malaysia considers appropriate.

All refund or cancellation requests should be made within seven (7) days from the transaction date. Requests made after this period may not be processed, especially where the contribution has already been allocated, committed, or applied toward ministry activities.

How to request a refund or cancellation

To request a refund or cancellation, please email [email protected] with the following details:

  • Donor’s full name
  • Contact number
  • Transaction date
  • Contribution amount
  • Payment reference or transaction ID
  • Payment receipt or confirmation, where available

CBN Malaysia may request additional information where necessary to verify the transaction and assess the request.

Approved refunds

If a refund is approved, it will generally be made to the original payment method where possible and subject to the applicable payment channel’s requirements. The time required for the refund to be reflected in your account may vary depending on the relevant bank, card issuer, payment gateway, or payment service provider.

Personal data

Any personal data provided as part of a refund or cancellation request will be handled in accordance with CBN Malaysia’s Privacy Notice, Donor Privacy Notice, and the applicable Personal Data Protection Act requirements.
